Christian Dior Reveals How Song Hye Kyo's Wedding Dress Was Made
Luxury brand Christian Dior shared the process of making Song Hye Kyo’s beautiful wedding dress!
Dior posted a series of pictures on Instagram that showed how the dress came to life from a sketch. “Take a look at the making of an haute couture creation,” Dior wrote as they posted the picture of the initial sketch. The gown was exclusively designed by the brand’s artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri. The sketch is a simple yet detailed drawing of the dress, pure white with ruffles near the neck for accent.
The second picture shows one of the petites mains (professional seamstresses) carefully stitching the unfinished dress. Dior added that their petites mains spend an unimaginable number of hours to reach the state of perfection.
The third and the final picture shows the completed dress with a designer flourishing the tail. “If you can imagine it, they can make it,” Dior wrote.
Christian Dior not only designed Song Hye Kyo’s dress but is also known to have been in charge of Song Joong Ki‘s tuxedo as well.
