CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa Discusses His Plans For Future Enlistment

CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa sat down for an interview on November 15 to talk about “The Package,” a romantic drama he is currently starring on.

He took the opportunity to talk about his future plans to enlist in the army as well. As a 29-year-old man, putting off his military duty is becoming more and more difficult. “It’s about time and I do have to go quickly,” Jung Yong Hwa said. “I’m sorry. I’m constantly looking for the right time.”

When asked if he had plans to enlist with other members of CNBLUE, he replied, “Enlisting together is not something I can decide on. I’m the oldest and if we enlist, I’ll go first. I can’t tell them to go because I’m going. I’ll leave it to them to make the decisions.”

Meanwhile, Jung Yong Hwa has been playing the role of curious tourist San Maru on JTBC’s “The Package.” The drama airs every Friday and Saturday at 11:00 p.m. KST.
