"Prison Playbook" Begins Its Run With High Viewership Ratings

Highly-anticipated drama “Prison Playbook” aired its second episode on November 23, and has started off its run with high viewership ratings!

According to Nielsen Korea, the drama received an average rating of 5.4 percent and a peak of 7.1 percent. It also ranked first in its time slot for cable and terrestrial channels. This was an increase from its first episode, which received an average of 4.6 percent. It also placed first in tvN’s target audience of people in their 20s to their 40s, with an average of 3.4 percent.

“Prison Playbook” is directed and written by the production crew behind the hit “Reply” series, and follows various members of prison life, from inmates to guards.

“Prison Playbook” airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:10 p.m. KST.
