Cha Tae Hyun Gives Speech At Blue Dragon Film Awards In Honor Of Actors Who Passed Away This Year

On November 25 at the Blue Dragon Film Awards, actor Cha Tae Hyun gave a speech in honor of the celebrities who passed away this year.During the annual awards ceremony, there was a time of mourning for the deaths of Kim Young Ae, Kim Ji Young, Kim Joo Hyuk, Yoon So Jung, and others.Cha Tae Hyun stated, “2017 will be remembered as a heartbreaking year when we had to unfortunately send our loved ones away. We said goodbye to our respected seniors and beloved colleagues.”

He also talked about his good friend Kim Joo Hyuk, who passed away not too long ago after getting into a car accident. He said, “I still can’t forget his smile. I still can’t forget his warm consideration and benevolence either. I couldn’t even say goodbye to him. To be honest, my heart still feels overwhelmed at the sudden goodbye that happened out of the blue.”

Cha Tae Hyun added, “I give a big round of applause to our senior actors’ hard work. I will forever cherish the happy memories. I will remember these wonderful actors. Please don’t be in any pain in heaven, and I will pray for you to be in peace.” Last but not least, he said, “I really miss [him]. I love you. I love you, hyung.”After his brief but memorable speech, Kim Hye Soo, one of the hosts of the night, couldn’t hold back her tears and also expressed her condolences to the passing of the great actors this year.
