CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa And AOA Chosen As Pyeongchang Paralympics Ambassadors
Girl group AOA and CNBLUE member Jung Yong Hwa have been chosen as ambassadors for the upcoming 2018 Pyeongchang Paralympics.
AOA actively participated in publicizing the Pyeongchang Olympics during South Korean President Moon Jae In’s state visit to Indonesia, and they will continue promoting the Games on and offline.
Jung Yong Hwa commented, “I really wanted to become the ambassador for the Pyeongchang Olympics and Paralympics. After learning about ice hockey through a variety program, I became really interested in winter sports. Besides ice hockey, there are many fun winter sports, so I will work hard to publicize them.”
This year will be the 12th year of the Paralympics, and the event will be held for 10 days from March 9 to 18 after the Pyeongchang Olympics ends. A total of 25,000 people with around 1,500 athletes from 50 countries are expected to attend, making it the largest ever Paralympics event.
