2PM's Junho Talks About Being A Male Lead For The First Time In "Just Between Lovers"

2PM’s Junho recently shared his thoughts on receiving his first K-drama male lead role.

On December 6, Junho participated in the press conference for JTBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Just Between Lovers” alongside Won Jin Ah. During the conference, he stated, “I received my first lead role in this drama, and I’ve experienced, just a little bit, the amount of responsibility that the main lead needs to have.”

He continued, saying, “However, in dramas or films, I think the lead roles aren’t the ones who do everything alone in projects, but rather, actors and colleagues do things together. Honestly, I didn’t feel burdened, but I was really worried. I’m preoccupied with whether I am able to properly translate the screenwriter’s script to video form.”

“Just Between Lovers” tells the story of Kang Doo (Junho), a tough and sturdy young man; and Moon Soo (Won Jin Ah), an architect who hides her pain as she dreams of a normal, everyday life. After a life-changing accident affects them both, the drama unveils how the two characters heal each other’s pain.

The drama is set to air its first episode on December 11 at 11 p.m. KST.
