BTS Reigns Over Oricon's Daily Singles Chart

BTS has taken the top spot on the daily Oricon singles chart with impressive sales!

According to Oricon on December 6, BTS’s eighth Japanese single album “MIC Drop/DNA/Crystal Snow” has sold 269,861 units in only one day and topped the daily singles chart.

Pre-orders for the single began on November 19, and distributors stock pre-ordered over 300,000 units. The single album contains Japanese versions of the group’s hit tracks “DNA” and “MIC Drop” as well as their special Japanese winter song “Crystal Snow.”

This is the fifth time that BTS has topped the daily singles chart, following achieving the feat with “For You,” “I Need U (Japanese Ver.),” “Run (Japanese Ver.),” and “Blood, Sweat & Tears (Japanese Ver.).”

BTS will soon be appearing at the Japanese end-of-year music show “Music Station Super Live 2017” on December 22.
