On December 6, Samuel attended the 2017 Yahoo Asia Buzz Awards and won an award for Most Searched KR New Singer.

The Yahoo Asia Buzz Awards is an annual event that features some of the most influential stars in Asia, giving out awards based on statistics from Yahoo’s search engine. This year, Samuel was the most searched celebrity among new Korean singers.

The singer took to his personal Instagram to write a sweet message in both Korean and English, thanking his fans, agency, and Brave Brothers for the award.
