BTS Achieves Highest Points Ever For Foreign Artist On Oricon's Weekly Singles Chart

BTS has broken yet another record in Japan with their latest single!

According to Japanese music chart Oricon, BTS took first place on its latest weekly singles chart with their new single “MIC Drop/DNA/Crystal Snow.” The group recorded 365,096 points for the week of December 4 to December 10, making them the first ever foreign artist to surpass 300,000 points on the chart.

BTS also maintained their No. 1 spot on the Oricon daily singles chart, continuing their impressive six-day streak at the top

The group previously topped the Oricon weekly singles chart twice with their Japanese single “Blood Sweat & Tears.” At the time, BTS set a new record for the fastest foreign group to surpass 200,000 album sales in Japan.

BTS also recently made the Top 20 on Billboard Japan’s list of Top Artists in 2017.
