Park Bo Gum Chosen As A Recipient Of 2017 Star Of Korean Tourism Award

Actor Park Bo Gum has been announced as a winner of the 2017 Star of Korean Tourism.

On December 12, the Korea Tourism Organization and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism held the 2017 Korea Tourism Awards Ceremony at Lotte Hotel in Seoul.

Park Bo Gum was one of 13 winners announced at the ceremony. In February, the actor was named by Forbes Korea magazine as the No.1 “Power Celebrity of 2017.” The actor gained popularity through tvN’s “Reply 1998” and KBS’s “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds.” He was chosen as a recipient for his contribution towards publicizing Korea as a Hallyu star through his fan meetings, which were held in eight Asian countries this year.

Meanwhile, Park Bo Gum also received an award at the 2017 Korean Popular Culture & Arts Awards in November and most recently hosted the 2017 Mnet Music Awards in Japan on November 29.
