Wanna One To Transform Into H.O.T For Special Performance At 2017 SBS Gayo Daejun
Five members of Wanna One will be paying homage to legendary first-generation idol group H.O.T at the 2017 SBS Gayo Daejun!
On December 14, a source from SBS confirmed, “Wanna One’s Ha Sung Woon, Hwang Min Hyun, Kang Daniel, Ong Sung Woo, and Park Woo Jin will be transforming into a 2017 version of H.O.T. The song [they will be performing] has not been finalized yet, but it will be arranged and feature choreography to follow present-day trends.” According to some reports, the five idols may be performing H.O.T’s hit track “We Are the Future.”
So far, other special performances that will be showcased at the 2017 SBS Gayo Daejun include Uhm Jung Hwa and Sunmi’s collaborative stage, and hosts Yoo Hee Yeol and IU‘s reported collaboration. Current “Inkigayo” MCs—GOT7’s Jinyoung, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, and NCT’s Doyoung—are also reportedly a performance together.
The 2017 SBS Gayo Daejun will take place at Gocheok Sky Dome on December 25, at 5:50 p.m. KST. Following the first lineup, the second lineup will be revealed on December 17, during “Inkigayo.”
