Watch: "MIXNINE" Male Contestants Prepare For Battle In New Preview

In the latest preview for “MIXNINE,” the competition heats up as the male contestants get ready for their next mission!

After the female contestants participated in the show’s “formation battle” this week, it’s now the male contestants’ turn to split into new teams and put their own spin on iconic K-pop hits.

The newly released clip offers a sneak peek at the performances from next week’s episode, as well as the contestants hyping each other up backstage before they head off to battle. The male contestants will be performing remixes of popular songs including BIGBANG’s “Bang Bang Bang,” Taeyang’s “Ringa Linga,” TVXQ’s “Hug,” Super Junior’s “It’s You,” and, unexpectedly, Ga In‘s “Paradise Lost.”

The preview also features judges Yang Hyun Suk and WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon bestowing high praise on a few lucky teams. Yang Hyun Suk remarks, “I wouldn’t have been able to pull that off. In one word, it was a success.”

Kang Seung Yoon also raves, “I thought that this team looked like an existing idol group.”
