JYP Entertainment Releases Official Statement About Stray Kids' Debut

JYP Entertainment has responded to the large amount of interest in the debut of their upcoming boy band.

At the conclusion of the survival show Mnet’s “Stray Kids,” it was announced that the nine members of Stray Kids would be debuting as a group. This will be JYP’s first dance boy group since GOT7 in 2014 and their first boy group since DAY6 in 2015.

On December 20, a source from JYP Entertainment stated to OSEN, “We are planning to debut [Stray Kids] next year but we have not decided the exact debut date.”

The source added, “We sincerely thank the fans who have shown interest and support up until the last episode [of “Stray Kids”]. We will work hard and return with an improved image so please look forward to it.”
