g.o.d's Son Ho Young Talks About Being Compared To Wanna One's Kang Daniel

On December 21, g.o.d’s Son Ho Young made a guest appearance on MBC radio program “Ji Suk Jin’s 2 O’Clock Date,” where he talked about the comparisons between himself and Wanna One’s Kang Daniel.

Son Ho Young was asked, “When you see Wanna One’s Kang Daniel, are you reminded of..?” to which he answered, “I’m not saying that we look alike, but when I see him I do think, ‘I used to be really popular in the past.’ There’s no denying that Kang Daniel is much more popular.”

He also shared that he was a fan of Kang Daniel, who happens to also be his label mate, to the point where he asked for his phone number as soon as he met him. Ji Suk Jin commented, “I think you guys have a similar image from when you did ‘g.o.d’s Babysitting Diaries.’ You had a gentle, motherly image.” Son Ho Young stated, “I just laughed then. But when Kang Daniel laughs, he’s prettier. He has more talent, and he has a great body too.” He laughed and said, “I’m jealous. He’s tall and dances well, too.”
