The film “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds” has set impressive box office records in just three days since its premiere.

According to Korea Film Council’s report, “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds” surpassed 1 million moviegoers at approximately 1 p.m. KST on December 22.

The record is a day faster than the biggest past December box office hits “Ode to My Father,” which accumulated 14 million viewers in 2014, and “The Attorney,” which amassed 11 million viewers in 2013.

It has also beat the previous record of “Master,” which was the preceding fastest film to attract 1 million viewers in December.

With its outstanding ticket sales and record-breaking opening results, many are interested to see how well “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds” will do.

The film, starring Ha Jung WooCha Tae HyunJoo Ji Hoon, Kim Hyang Gi, EXO’s D.O., and more, follows the story of a deceased man as he undergoes seven trials over 49 days, and the grim reapers who help him.
