Once again, “Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds” has managed to pass another impressive milestone in just one day!

Around 11:30 a.m. KST on December 24, the film surpassed 3 million moviegoers, just five days after it premiered on December 20.

After reaching 1 million viewers in just three days, it has been amassing around a million viewers a day, reaching the 2 million mark a day later, and now 3 million another day later. At this rate, “Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds” looks like a potential rival for popular 2017 film “A Taxi Driver,” which reached 10 million moviegoers in just 23 days.

Notably, this film has already managed to pass 3 million viewers five days faster than the 2014 film “Ode to My Father,” which currently is second overall for having the most moviegoers at 14 million. It is also reaching audience milestones at a faster rate than popular films “The Attorney” and “Miracle in Cell No. 7,” which each recorded over 10 million moviegoers during their respective runs at the box office.

To thank all the viewers, several members of the main cast gathered together for a Christmas-themed photo. Ha Jung Woo, Cha Tae Hyun, Joo Ji Hoon, Kim Hyang Gi, Kim Dong Wook, and director Kim Yong Hwa dressed up in festive holiday headwear, while holding up three fingers to represent 3 million.
