Actress Kim Hyang Gi Shares Her Thoughts On Looking Like EXO's D.O.
Actress Kim Hyang Gi recently appeared in the film, “Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds,” where she got to work with EXO’s D.O.
In a photo that was taken from the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2014, Kim Hyang Gi and D.O. posed together backstage. The photo was shared on many online communities due to the two actors’ resemblance to each other.
Fast forward three years, and the two met again on the set of their recent film. When asked about this in an interview, Kim Hyang Gi said, “[People] told me that we are lookalikes, so I’ve been aware of it since a couple years ago.”
She continued, “In the first part of the film, I didn’t have any scenes with D.O. but we had one scene together in the second part.” She also shared how her friends were initially excited that she was cast alongside him but ended up being disappointed after learning they didn’t have many scenes together.
Kim Hyang Gi commented, “I’m not sure if we look alike in person. I resemble many people,” and added, “I really like [hearing that I look like D.O.].”
“Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds” premiered in theaters on December 20 and set a new box office record in just four days.
