BTOB’s Yook Sungjae has taken to social media to personally reassure fans of his condition following the announcement that he would be temporarily halting activities due to a back injury.

On December 31, Yook Sungjae posted a selfie on his personal Instagram account and wrote, “Hello. It’s so unfortunate that I wasn’t able to greet you during these happy end-of-the-year holidays. I’m getting better at a fast rate every day, so don’t worry about me. Through this incident, I was able to feel once again just how many people care about me and support me. I’m very grateful.”

He continued to write, “I won’t forget your support and I will do my best to show a better side of myself when I greet you in the new year! Please keep giving BTOB lots and lots of support next year! Melodies, happy new year! The photo is just a random one.”

It was announced on December 29 that Yook Sungjae would temporarily be taking a break from activities to give him time to recover from a back injury.
