Kangnam Steps Down From “Law Of The Jungle” Due To Illness + MONSTA X’s Minhyuk Takes His Place
Kangnam has unfortunately had to withdraw from SBS’s variety show “Law of the Jungle” due to an illness, and MONSTA X’s Minhyuk is set to take his place on the team.
Kangnam’s company RD COMPANY stated, “Kangnam has been confirmed to have the Influenza A virus, and is therefore unable to join the ‘Law of the Jungle’ Chile series.”
The ‘Law of the Jungle’ staff is said to have dissuaded Kangnam from appearing on the show when they heard the news so that he can put all his focus on his recovery. An agency source stated, “Kangnam is upset that he will not be able to participate in the show. However, he is grateful for the production staff’s warm consideration for his health, and he will now focus on putting his health first.”
MONSTA X’s Minhyuk has taken over for Kangnam’s absence, and joined the first team of cast members who headed out to Chile today. He made sure to say goodbye to his fans before he left as he posted photos on MONSTA X’s official Twitter account with the caption, “I’ll return safely~ Don’t worry about me!”
