FTISLAND's Lee Hong Ki Responds To Comments That Minhwan And Yulhee Are Too Young To Get Married

FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki has responded to concerns about the recently announced engagement of his bandmate Minhwan to former LABOUM member Yulhee.

On January 4, during his KBS Cool FM radio show “Lee Hong Ki’s Kiss The Radio,” Lee Hong Ki spoke up on behalf of Minhwan, who had announced his engagement to Yulhee the previous day.

The FTISLAND singer opened his show by declaring, “Today is a day of good news for my group member Minhwan.”

He went on, “Many people asked, ‘Isn’t it too soon [for them to get married]?’ ‘What is this?’ But the two are very happy together. There’s nothing that you need to worry about. Don’t make a fuss over nothing.”

Lee Hong Ki also asked that people offer their support for the couple. “It’s something that the two of them decided together, and they’re very happy,” he remarked. “Please cheer them on. Please congratulate them.”

After Minhwan announced his engagement on Instagram earlier this week, his fellow FTISLAND members have been vocal about expressing their support.
