Jo Se Ho Officially Becomes Permanent Member Of "Infinite Challenge"

Comedian Jo Se Ho has officially joined MBC’s “Infinite Challenge” as a permanent member!

On the January 6 episode of “Infinite Challenge,” the cast held a special hearing to decide whether to approve potential member Jo Se Ho, who has recently been appearing on the variety show as a semi-regular guest.

The episode featured a hidden camera prank that was filmed the previous night. Cast members HaHa and Yang Se Hyung first coaxed Jo Se Ho, who typically abstains from drinking the day before he films “Infinite Challenge,” to go out drinking with them. They then proceeded to tell him a variety of ridiculous lies, including “[Producing Director] Kim Tae Ho has a scar from when he got hit by Yoo Jae Suk” and “Yoo Jae Suk once fought one-on-one with Jung Joon Ha and knocked him out.” Amusingly, Jo Se Ho appeared to believe them, seemingly taking everything they said at face value.

Jo Se Ho was also subjected to a lie detector test during the hearing. First, he answered “No” to the question “Have you ever had any complaints about Yoo Jae Suk?” Then he answered “Yes” to “When Hwang Kwanghee returns [from his military service], I must leave the show.” Unfortunately, however, the lie detector test deemed both of his statements to be false.

Later on, actor Lee Dong Wook appeared as a witness on his friend Jo Se Ho’s behalf. After initially teasing him by joking that he was actually there to promote himself and not to help out Jo Se Ho, Lee Dong Wook later “testified” that he considered his friend a perfect fit for the show.

“He’s well-suited [for the show],” the actor stated. “Whenever Se Ho does anything, he always gives it his all and doesn’t hold back. He’s great at sports. He’s good at both skateboarding and basketball.”

After the long and grueling hearing, the “Infinite Challenge” cast finally welcomed Jo Se Ho as their newest permanent member.

Yoo Jae Suk remarked, “We sincerely wanted Jo Se Ho [to join the show],” going on to describe him as “someone who, as an ‘Infinite Challenge’ member, is now in the same boat as us.”
