Lee Dong Wook Appointed As An Honorary Ambassador For 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics

Actor Lee Dong Wook has been chosen as an honorary ambassador for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics!

Lee Dong Wook attended the honorary ambassador appointment ceremony for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games at the Taepyeongro Press Center in Seoul on January 12. Lee Dong Wook will actively promote the success of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as the tourism boom of the Gangwon province.

It was revealed at the appointment ceremony that Lee Dong Wook bought 1,000 tickets for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Paralympics. He bought the tickets to attend with his fans, simultaneously fulfilling his role as an honorary ambassador and demonstrating his love for his fans.

Lee Dong Wook has been actively communicating with his fans and returning the love he has received. Starting with his fan meeting in Seoul last March 12, the actor has been holding a V Live broadcast for his fans on the 12th of every month. Lee Dong Wook has shown his sincerity through the broadcasts, directly writing the opening remarks and choosing the songs himself for each broadcast.

Additionally, Lee Dong Wook has been an active supporter of goodwill causes, serving as a leading example. Last year, he participated in the “WeAction [#everychild]” campaign with UNICEF Korea.
