BTS Sets New Record For K-Pop Groups As

BTS’s “MIC Drop” remix is now in its seventh week on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart!

On January 17, Billboard released its charts for the week ending in January 20. On the Hot 100 chart, which ranks the most popular songs in the United States, BTS’s “MIC Drop” remix (featuring Desiigner and produced by Steve Aoki) comes in at No. 74.

Now with seven weeks on the chart, the song has set an even longer record for K-pop group tracks on the Hot 100, after previously beating the four-week record set by “DNA.”

Meanwhile, BTS’s “Love Yourself: Her” remains on the Billboard 200 chart for its fourteenth week, now at No. 75 after charting at No. 72 last week.

The mini album also continues to reign at No. 1 on the World Albums chart, where “You Never Walk Alone” also rises to No. 3 from No. 4 last week, and “Wings” comes in at No. 6.

“Love Yourself: Her” also maintains its No. 12 spot on the Independent Albums chart, and rises to No. 36 from No. 44 last week on the Canadian Albums chart. “MIC Drop” is at No. 67 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart.

BTS is still ruling the Social 50 chart at No. 1, while they’ve shot up to No. 19 on the Artist 100 chart this week after being No. 71 last week.

Congratulations to BTS!
