NU'EST's Aron To Scale Back Upcoming Activities Due To Viral Eye Infection

NU’EST’s Aron will be minimizing his activities while he recovers from a viral eye infection.

On January 18, Pledis Entertainment posted a notice on NU’EST’s official fan cafe and wrote, “Aron was diagnosed with a viral eye infection on January 16. The medical professional advised us that due to the nature of the infection, it would be best to minimize physical contact with others.”

Therefore, the decision was made for Aron to scale back his activities as much as possible while he recovers. The agency explained, “We have come to the decision for Aron to only be present for the initial greeting on stage at the Labiotte fansign event on January 21.” Therefore, all four members (JR, Baekho, Ren, Aron) will greet fans before the event, and only the three members excluding Aron will be meeting fans and giving out signatures afterwards.

Pledis went on to state, “We want to sincerely apologize for worrying fans with this sudden news, and we will do our best to make sure Aron can greet fans again soon after a quick and full recovery.”

They concluded with, “We ask that people refrain from making unreasonable speculations or assumptions on why Aron is unable to attend the fansign event, and we ask for your continued support of NU’EST W and Aron.”
