Winners Of The 5th Edaily Culture Awards

On January 23, the Edaily Culture Awards held its annual ceremony to recognize outstanding work in the field of performing arts. The evening was hosted by announcer Cho Woo Jong and MOMOLAND’s Nancy.

Wanna One took home the top prize in the concert category for “Wanna One Premier Show-Con.” Leader Yoon Ji Sung thanked everyone for the award, and expressed his gratitude for the hard work of all the staff behind the scenes and thanked their fans Wannable for coming to their concert.

Kang Daniel added, “We want to become an even more improved Wanna One this year.” Ong Sung Woo said, “We received a lot of love from Wannable in 2017. We’ll work hard so that we can give back love in return this year.”

BigHit Entertainment founder Bang Shi Hyuk received the Frontier Award at the ceremony. He said during his acceptance speech, “I gratefully accept this award while knowing that it not only recognizes BTS’s achievements last year but is also a way of telling us to keep going forward in the future. I will work hard so that K-pop can continue to improve.”
