Update: B1A4’s Agency Releases Official Statement On Group’s Status After Car Accident

After B1A4 was reported to be in a car accident on their way to a concert, WM Entertainment released an official statement on the group’s homepage late at night on January 27.
The statement read as follows:
“Hello, this is WM Entertainment. First, we would like to apologize for being late in delivering the news to the worried fans who heard about the car accident. On January 27, B1A4 got in a car accident while on their way to Inje for the ICON Concert.
“It was a very sudden incident and following up with the B1A4 members was the most important issue, so we delayed the official statement until we could get a precise checkup from the hospital. We apologize again for the delay.
“Right now B1A4 has completed their medical examinations at a local Inje hospital and received a diagnosis of bruises and muscle pain. They are currently resting safely after the diagnosis. In the future, WM Entertainment will do its best to ensure the fast recovery of its members and put the safety of our artists first.
“Once again, we would like to apologize to the fans for causing concern and to the audience members who were waiting for B1A4 at the ICON Concert.”
The members of B1A4 have been rushed to a hospital for treatment after being involved in a car accident.
According to multiple sources, the accident occurred on January 27 while B1A4 was traveling to the ICON Concert, which is being held in Inje this weekend to show support for the upcoming 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. The accident took place around the Gapyeong area in Gyeonggi Province, and B1A4’s car is said to have collided with the vehicle in front of them.
A B1A4 representative confirmed that the accident had taken place and stated, “B1A4 has been taken to a nearby hospital for further examinations following the accident. They will unfortunately not be attending the scheduled event. We sincerely apologize for causing concern and we will do our best to focus on our artists’ recovery.”
An official statement on the health of the B1A4 members and staff who were involved in the accident will be released after they have been treated.
