Golden Child Opens Up About Jaeseok's Departure And Their Recent Phone Call With Him

Golden Child held a showcase for their new mini-album “Miracle” and opened up about returning as a 10-member group following the departure of Jaeseok.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Jaeseok would be leaving the team to focus on his health, and the team would be moving forward as a 10-member group.

When asked how they felt about making a comeback with one less member, leader Daeyeol spoke up with, “Unfortunately, Jaeseok has had to leave the team. We worked very hard to respect his decision as much as possible. We didn’t hold back on our support for him as he left.”

He continued on to state, “We all decided that we will each work 10 percent harder than before to try and fill the empty spot he left behind. We recently spoke with Jaeseok and expressed our hopes that he will be healthier in the future. We shared words of support and encouragement with each other.”
