Red Velvet Triumphs On iTunes Album Charts Worldwide With

People are loving Red Velvet’s new release!

The group recently dropped their latest repackaged album “The Perfect Red Velvet” on January 29 at 6 p.m. KST, and their title track “Bad Boy” quickly rose to first place on multiple major Korean realtime music charts. As of 9 a.m. KST on January 30, the song continues to be in first on realtime charts of Genie, Bugs, Olleh Music, Soribada, and Naver Music. The album itself also placed first on the daily album charts of Hanteo Chart, Synnara, Kyobo Bookstore, and Hottracks.

Aside from its success domestically, Red Velvet’s newest release saw much popularity worldwide as well. It marked first place on iTunes album charts of 16 countries and cities: Netherlands, Finland, Slovenia, Latvia, Romania, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Kazakhstan, Panama, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Their title track “Bad Boy” also has been experiencing love in China, and took first place on Xiami Music’s overall chart.

Red Velvet will be holding their first music show performance of “Bad Boy” on the February 1 broadcast of Mnet’s “M!Countdown.”
