BoA Names Which SM Idols She'd Want To Team Up With For A Project Group

BoA picked three of her SM Entertainment labelmates that she could imagine being in a project group with!

BoA was the guest on the January 31 episode of “Weekly Idol,” which included an interview segment. During the show, the hosts asked BoA about how she’d said that if she could turn back time, she’d like to be the eldest member of Girls’ Generation.

“Promoting as a solo artist is lonely,” she explained. “I meant that since I’m older, I’d want to join them as the eldest member.”

She went on to say, “When we do SMTOWN concerts, the others are all having fun together in the waiting rooms while I’m alone, or just with the staff. It’s a bit lonely.”

The hosts then asked her to name SM Entertainment artists that she’d like to team up with as a hypothetical four-member project group.

BoA first named TVXQ’s Yunho, and then considered others to pick. She smiled as she came up with the idea to make it a group of dancers, and picked Yunho, SHINee’s Taemin, and Red Velvet’s Seulgi.

BoA was then given a “test” to find out if she could really be a member of Girls’ Generation. The show played a clip of the group performing “Lion Heart,” and asked BoA to try to perform it on the spot.

The star got up and followed along with the dance with no problem at all, shocking host Jung Hyung Don. She then also aced EXO’s “Monster,” despite her concerns about the tricky choreography!

BoA made a comeback on January 31 with her new track “NEGA DOLA.” Check out BoA’s random play dance of her hit songs from this week’s episode of “Weekly Idol” here!
