JTBC’s variety show “Hyori’s Homestay 2” is set to air its first episode on February 4, and this season will follow Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon again as they open their house up to guests.

The show received over 210,000 applications for the second season, showing just how popular the show is. This season will show Jeju Island in winter, which will be a refreshing change of scenery.

1. “Winter Jeju,” a different charm from season one

“Hyori’s Homestay 2” will show a different side to Jeju Island as it is filmed in the winter. In the first season, which was shot in spring and summer, Lee Hyori, Lee Sang Soon, and IU were often seen resting by the beach and surfing the waves. The second season’s teasers have shown Lee Hyori, Lee Sang Soon, and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA riding sleds down a snow-covered hill and enjoying other winter activities.

Even the poster for the second season shows the three celebrities sitting around the house’s fireplace as they eat tangerines. The trio are wearing thick sweaters, and the warm flame and sleeping pets add to the warm and cozy atmosphere of the poster.

2. “Almighty Worker” YoonA can do anything

This season, YoonA will be traveling to Jeju Island to be a reliable helping hand for Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon. This will be her first variety show appearance in a while, and YoonA will impress as a person who can do anything from cooking to driving and clearing away all the snow. She’s also very personable as she quickly becomes friends with the guests who come to the home. Lee Hyori is said to have said, “There’s nothing she can’t do,” about YoonA, expressing her infinite trust in the younger singer.

3. “Womance” between first generation girl group legend Lee Hyori and second generation girl group icon YoonA

Lee Hyori and YoonA are from different K-pop generations but their “womance” is set to captivate viewers. “Hyori’s Homestay 2” will air every Sunday at 9 p.m. KST on JTBC, with the first episode set to air on February 4.
