Watch: YoonA Quickly Adjusts To "Hyori's Homestay 2" As New Skillful Employee

Girls’ Generation member YoonA was introduced as the new employee in the premiere of JTBC’s “Hyori’s Homestay 2.”

On the February 4 broadcast, Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon prepared to welcome guests into their home for the winter. Not knowing the identity of their new employee, the couple discussed some hopeful traits of their new employee, including cooking and driving.

During her interview with the production staff, YoonA had listed various dishes she can make, her knowledge of Chinese and Japanese, and her passionate work ethic.

When the doorbell rang, Lee Hyori looked at the screen and excitedly said, “It’s YoonA!” The couple ran out to greet YoonA and gave her a warm welcome. Lee Hyori added, “It’s my first time seeing her in 10 years. When I saw her on ‘Family Outing,’ she was 19 years old, but now she’s 29 [by Korean reckoning]. Time flies.”

YoonA was a new employee full of passion and said, “I’ll tell you when I’m tired, but in the meantime, please give me lots of work.” While drinking a warm cup of tea, YoonA and the couple talked and got to know each other. YoonA mentioned she brought a waffle maker as well as other useful tools to use in the kitchen, and named some dishes she can cook, receiving positive reactions from the homeowners.

After a day of traveling and getting familiar with her new surroundings, YoonA washed up and got ready for bed back in her dorm. In bed, she looked over the booklet of recipes the production staff had prepared for her. While she looked over these, Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon folded laundry and talked by the fireplace back in their home.

Lee Sang Soon said, “YoonA is bright,” and Lee Hyori replied, “I think she was always sociable and bright.” Lee Sang Soon then asked, “But it does seem like it’s a bit awkward right?” and Lee Hyori responded, “Of course. It’s probably awkward for her. I’m her senior and it’s her first time meeting you. I think she wants to work hard.”

Lee Sang Soon concluded, “As time passes, it’ll be okay.”
