BIGBANG's Seungri Shares Silly And Serious Reasons Why He Became A DJ

BIGBANG’s Seungri recently appeared on the February 4 episode of MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment Relay.”

During the show, Sleepy and DinDin visited a Hong Kong club where various DJs gathered to celebrate the launching of EDM label Liquid State. The Korean representative at the party was BIGBANG’s Seungri, who later held an interview to talk about his passion.

“When I was promoting as part of BIGBANG, I had the feeling that the DJ market would grow,” Seungri said. “When you perform for an hour, you can play as many as 50 tracks. It’s fun to be able to show people many different songs in a single hour.”

He joked, “Also, this way I don’t have to sing an entire BIGBANG song by myself. I can just hit play.”

He then expressed his happiness at joining Liquid State. “It’s a platform that allows collaboration of Asian artists with artists around the world,” he shared. “It allows greater cooperation in the music market.”
