H.O.T. Reunion Performance Moved To Larger Venue Due To Fans' Requests

Infinite Challenge” has responded to the requests of H.O.T. fans!

The program opened applications on February 1 for H.O.T.’s reunion performance. Within a day, the number of applications exceeded 100,000. Applications are still open until February 7

The original recording location was set to be the hall at MBC Dream Center in Ilsan, which is a small venue with a capacity of less than 1,000. Many fans complained as they all want to attend H.O.T.’s first performance in 17 years.

In response, “Infinite Challenge” explained the choice of the venue. They considered meaningful venues like Yeouido MBC, where H.O.T. held their debut stage, or Jamsil Olympic Stadium, where they had their last performance. However, Yeouido MBC is an old, abandoned building and no longer safe, and it is too cold for an outdoor venue like the Olympic Stadium.

Other large venues are occupied throughout the week of the performance due to other concerts and sporting events. In order to prepare for the event with enough time and ensure safety, the MBC Dream Center was selected.

However, due to the overload of fans’ requests, “Infinite Challenge” was able to secure Olympic Hall as the venue instead, allowing about 3,000 to 4,000 fans to attend.

The H.O.T. reunion performance will take place on February 15 at 7 p.m. KST. The special episodes of “Infinite Challenge” will air on February 17 at 10:25 p.m. KST and February 24 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
