Uee Discusses Her Bold Character In Upcoming Drama "My Husband Oh Jak Doo"

MBC’s weekend drama “My Husband Oh Jak Doo” released stills of Uee wholly immersed into her character.

In the drama, Uee plays Han Seung Joo, a hard-working producer in her mid-30s, who would risk anything for viewership ratings. In order to obtain the social position of a married woman, she takes innocent Oh Jak Doo (played by Kim Kang Woo) for a husband.

Uee shared, “I really enjoyed director Baek Ho Min and writer Yoo Yeon Kyung’s work, so when I got the synopsis, I thought it was an honor. The plot was fresh, and I was drawn to Han Seung Joo’s sturdy and bold personality.”

On her character, she commented, “I think the best thing about her is her ability to assert herself wherever she goes. I used a lot of bright and positive energy to portray a confident, passionate Han Seung Joo.” She continued, “As I was acting the part of Seung Joo, I felt I was being healed from laughing, crying, and even screaming.” Uee stated, “I’ll work hard to present viewers with good energy. Please look forward to it.”

“My Husband Oh Jak Doo” will air its first episode on March 3.
