Girl’s Day To Reunite As Full Group For 2018 Olympic Torch Relay
Girl’s Day has been confirmed to be participating in the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics torch relay!
On February 8, Girl’s Day will be making their first public appearance as a full group in nearly five months. In addition to being honorary ambassadors for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, all four members of the group will also be serving as torchbearers in one of the final legs of the symbolic relay.
The idols are scheduled to begin their run at 6 p.m. KST in the city of Gangneung, the venue for all of the indoor sports and the location of one of two Olympic Villages. From there, they will be heading toward the relay’s final destination of PyeongChang.
Girl’s Day remarked, “Since this is our first Olympic torch relay, we’re very nervous. We will do our best during the race to ensure that the torch, which has carried many people’s hopes and dreams all the way to Gangwon Province, can burn even more brightly in PyeongChang.”
