Idols Show Off Their Close Friendships In Photos From "2018 Idol Star Athletics Championships"

The “2018 Idol Star Athletics Championships New Year Special” is just around the corner, and MBC has released photos of idols hanging out and having fun behind the scenes.

This year’s event marks the ninth annual Lunar New Year special, and will be hosted by Jun Hyun Moo, Super Junior’s Leeteuk, and Apink’s Bomi. Idols will compete in archery, rhythmic gymnastics, aerobics, track and field, and the newly-added category bowling.

Male groups participating include EXO, Highlight, Wanna One, BTOB, VIXX, SEVENTEEN, NU’EST W, MONSTA X, ASTRO, NCT 127, UP10TION, SNUPER, KNK, VICTON, IMFACT, ONF, The East Light, Romeo, Golden Child, MVP, MXM, The Boyz, BLK, IN2IT, RAINZ, TopSecret, and MYTEEN.

The female participants include TWICE, Red Velvet, Apink, GFRIEND, Lovelyz, LABOUM, Oh My Girl, MAMAMOO, LABOUM, DIA, Cosmic Girls, gugudan, 9MUSES, APRIL, PRISTIN, Weki Meki, DreamCatcher, CLC, MOMOLAND, Berry Good, Baby Boo, Favorite, H.U.B, Gate9, S.I.S, Busters, Hash Tag, Minseo, Kriesha Chu, Yuseol, ELRIS, and 1NB.

The “2018 Idol Star Athletics Championships” will air the first two episodes on February 15 at 5:40 p.m. KST. The final two episodes will air on February 16 at 5:10 p.m. KST. Make sure to catch the show, as it will be available on Viki!
