Pilot Dating Variety Show Achieves First Place In Viewership Ratings

Pilot variety show “Romance Package” has achieved first place in viewership ratings for its time slot!

According to Nielsen Korea, the pilot episode of SBS’s “Couple Making Hotel – Romance Package,” which aired on February 16 at 8:35 p.m. KST, achieved viewership ratings of 5.1 percent in metropolitan areas, peaking at 6.2 percent.

“Romance Package” is a show that offers a three-night and four-day package at a hotel, where guests go on blind dates.

During the episode, five male and five female guests checked in at a hotel, where they were met by “romance guides” Jun Hyun Moo and Han Hye Jin. The guests were then assigned to their rooms.

After unpacking, the guests followed the schedule and enjoyed dinner while also scoping out the other guests. The female guests were then sent on a matchmaking mission where they entered the rooms of the male guests they were interested in.
