Singer I Shares What She Gained From Her Experience On

Singer I recently gave an interview about her experience on the idol rebooting project “The Unit.”

Known for being the younger sister of B1A4’s Baro, I debuted as a solo artist in 2017. She found success in the audition round and group mission of “The Unit” but eventually left the show due to health issues.

“I had to leave in the middle, but it was an opportunity I could learn a lot from,” she said. “I decided to appear on the show after a lot of thought, as I thought it would be a good chance for me. I was really nervous before my appearance. I think I was more nervous than during my debut as a singer. I was worried because it was a survival program and I had to go head-to-head with really good people.”

She continued, “When the survival part began, rather than feeling simple competitiveness, I realized that there are a lot of people who are good. I learned a lot from seeing the strengths of others. I was able to take stock of reality and decide I needed to work harder in the future. Unfortunately, I had to leave before it ended but I am working harder in practice and I think it was an opportunity for me to mature.”

When asked about plans for a comeback, I said, “Nothing definite has been planned yet, but I want to see my fans through a new album and performance sometime this year. I am also appearing in a play and focusing on rehearsals and performances for that.”

I then named BoA as her role model and said that she planned to spend the Lunar New Year holidays going skiing.
