Weekend Shows Canceled Or Reorganized This Weekend Due To Olympics And Lunar New Year

The effect of the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics coverage on the usual content from KBS, SBS, and MBC continues, with an additional impact from the Lunar New Year specials.

The February 18 schedule for KBS has “The Return of Superman” airing normally, while “2 Days & 1 Night” has been canceled in order to cover the Olympics. “My Golden Life,” normally airing at 7:55 p.m. KST, has been delayed to 10 p.m. KST instead.

On MBC, “Section TV Entertainment Relay” and “Wizard of Nowhere” were canceled, while “King of Masked Singer” aired as usual. “Wizard of Nowhere” was canceled for live Olympics broadcasts, while a special rebroadcast of the “Infinite Challenge PyeongChang special” is slated for 11:15 p.m. KST.

On SBS, “Running Man” aired as usual, but “Master in the House” was canceled. “My Ugly Duckling,” normally airing at 9:05 p.m. KST, was pushed back to 10:45 p.m. KST instead.

On JTBC, “Night Goblin” and “Hyori’s Homestay 2” aired as usual, though “Sugar Man 2” was canceled. Instead, the film “The King” will be broadcast for the Lunar New Year.
