YoonA Shares Her Worries With Lee Hyori After Tearing Up During Song Recommendation

On the February 18 episode of “Hyori’s Homestay 2,” YoonA was moved to tears.

After listening to a song that YoonA had written, Lee Hyori recommended to her a song called “Goodbye” by Son Sung Jae. While listening quietly to the recommendation, YoonA began to tear up.

The lyrics talk about getting together to talk through the night about all the things one couldn’t say before, and saying goodbye to someone you love but can never see or touch again.

Lee Hyori comforted her, saying, “Singers normally have a lot of emotions so they cry when listening to music.” She and Lee Sang Soon then gave her some time alone, which YoonA spent outside recovering herself.

Later that night, she and Lee Hyori had a heart-to-heart with some of their guests. When one guest said, “I can do a lot of things but I don’t have anything that I’m outstandingly talented at,” YoonA said that she felt the same.

Lee Hyori pointed out that she is often known for her beauty, but YoonA said, “[I feel lacking] when it comes to talent. When it comes to things I can do, I don’t have any outstanding skills.”

Lee Hyori related her experience in the first-generation girl group Fin.K.L. “In our team, Ock Joo Hyun was the one who had an standing voice,” she said. “I worried about the same thing as you then.” She added jokingly, “But I was No. 1 at being funny.”
