Red Velvet's Joy Turns Into A Bright, Hard-Working Student For "Tempted"

Upcoming MBC drama “Tempted” recently unveiled stills of Red Velvet’s Joy as the studious character Eun Tae Hee.

“Tempted” is a drama that follows a dangerous love game played by two youths and the risky yet beautiful romance that unfolds. Based on the French novel “Dangerous Liaisons,” which was also adapted into the American film with the same name, the drama tells the story of Eun Tae Hee, a 20-year-old fierce and haughty girl who believes that the most pitiful thing in the world is to fall in love. She is picked as the “target” by the “tempter” Kwon Si Hyun (played by Woo Do Hwan), and the two begin their game.

In the stills, Joy is seen studying hard for the 2018 college examinations, as she focuses on solving complicated equations on a blackboard. In one image, she is seen receiving her results and appears to be satisfied with them, smiling brightly. The results in her hand reveal that she placed in the first rank for each and every subject.

A source from the drama stated, “Joy is putting all of her effort into wholly becoming Tae Hee. She’s an actress that you can see growing at every shoot.”

“Tempted” will air every Monday and Tuesday, and will air its first episode on March 12 at 10 p.m. KST.
