Uee, Kim Kang Woo, And More Are Dedicated To Their Characters Behind The Scenes Of "My Husband, Mr. Oh!"
Ahead of its premiere, MBC’s upcoming weekend drama “My Husband, Mr. Oh!” has shared photos of the cast rehearsing on set.
“My Husband, Mr. Oh!” is a romance drama that follows the story of Han Seung Joo (Uee), a passionate producer in her mid-30s, and her struggles as a single woman in society. Sick of the societal prejudice against older single women, Seung Joo gets married to a naive man named Oh Jak Doo (Kim Kang Woo).
It was revealed that Kim Kang Woo and Uee are constantly brainstorming ideas to capture the chemistry between their characters, a man from the mountains and a chic city woman. The images show the two lead actors carefully going over their scripts together. In one image, Uee is laughing as she looks at Kim Kang Woo.
Jung Sang Hoon was also said to have brought laughter on set as he threw in ad-libs for his portrayal of famous celebrity Eric Cho.
Han Sun Hwa was revealed to have watched videos of performances to practice for her character Jang Eun Jo, who plays a Korean traditional musical instrument (gayageum). The photo below shows her carefully studying her script with a sincere expression, proving her dedication to her character.
The staff of “My Husband, Mr. Oh!” praised the main cast, saying, “The staff were able to gain strength thanks to the hardworking and energetic sides of the actors. The four lead actors and staff are putting their best efforts into filming and making a fun and good drama, so we ask for a lot of interest and support.”
“My Husband, Mr. Oh!” will air its first episode on March 3 at 8:45 p.m. KST, and will be available on Viki!
