Yoon Shi Yoon Talks About His Role In 'Grand Prince' And Personality In '2 Days & 1 Night'

Yoon Shi Yoon recently took part in a photo shoot with Singles magazine, where he talked about his upcoming drama “Grand Prince,” his current variety show “2 Days & 1 Night,” as well as his past hit drama “Baker King, Kim Tak Goo.”

On his role as Lee Hwi in his upcoming drama “Grand Prince,” Yoon Shi Yoon explained, “In the synopsis, Lee Hwi is a carefree man who enjoys the arts. It’s going to be interesting to see how, despite the fact that him and Lee Kang are of the same rank, the two face difficult circumstances differently, and how their stories unfold.” The actor also commented that out of all his dramas, this one had the heaviest amount of melodrama.

Yoon Shi Yoon also talked about his clumsy personality on KBS variety show “2 Days & 1 Night.” He shared, “As you may know, ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ is a program where you have to let yourself go. Even though I’m a bit lacking, through the process of trusting and figuring things out with the staff and members, I’m becoming more natural when filming.” He commented that this helped him when he was having difficulty with control when acting.

The actor also talked about his plans for the rest of the year. He explained that although he had received a lot of love for his role in “Baker King, Kim Tak Goo,” much of the public still perceived him as Kim Tak Goo, despite the fact that he had done a lot of other work. Yoon Shi Yoon commented, “So I hope that this year, I leave a mark to show that I did my best and challenged myself with different characters.”
