Lee Hyun Praises BTS For Their Unchanging Hard-Working Attitude

Singer Lee Hyun had nothing but praise for his labelmates BTS on the latest episode of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.”

During the show, host Yoo Hee Yeol expressed his admiration of Lee Hyun’s voice, to which the singer jokingly agreed, “I sometimes get shocked when I hear my own voice.” When asked what he had been up to lately, he replied, “While cheering on BTS, who were on their overseas tours, I released a self-composed track in December, watched many movies, and enjoyed writing songs.”

Lee Hyun then chose BTS’s “Spring Day” as his favorite song to listen to recently. He explained, “I heard this song before it was created, when there was just the track and a few words, and I really liked it. Then the song was completed, and the members had written the lyrics for it, and the lyrics were amazing. Even though the lyrics ‘I miss you/Saying this makes me miss you even more‘ are obvious words, they’re still wonderful.”

Lee Hyun, who belongs to the same agency as BTS, praised his junior artists highly. “They’ve been working hard ever since they were trainees, and I’m proud that, with their fans’ help, they have reached an impressive level of success,” he said. “If I were BTS, I would’ve told our agency to carry me around on a palanquin, but they really haven’t changed at all. I’m not saying this because they’re my juniors. Seeing them continue to work hard without changing, even when they could afford to change a little, has set an example for me. I hope they become more successful, and I’ll work hard to become a good senior artist to them.”
