Park Bo Gum Surprises YoonA And Lee Hyori On "Hyori's Homestay 2"

Park Bo Gum has finally arrived at “Hyori’s Homestay 2”!

On the March 11 episode of the JTBC reality show, Park Bo Gum surprised Lee Hyori and Girls’ Generation YoonA by showing up unexpectedly at Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon’s home on Jeju Island.

Unbeknownst to Lee Hyori, Park Bo Gum was scheduled to work alongside YoonA for three days as a part-time employee at the temporary bed and breakfast. Before leaving for Jeju Island, the actor expressed his excitement in an interview with the production crew.

Explaining why he had decided to join the show, Park Bo Gum said, “I watched [the first season] because I’m a fan of Lee Hyori, and the show was so lovely that it made me want to appear [on the program].”

He then asked, “Does Lee Hyori know I’m coming?” When he learned that she didn’t, he replied excitedly, “I think I should make a surprise appearance.”

Park Bo Gum also confidently proclaimed that he would make a valuable employee. “I’m good at making rice, curry, rice cake soup, and fried tofu stuffed with rice,” he declared. “I’m good at cleaning. I’ve never used a coffeemaker before, but I imagined it while watching the show. I think I’ll be able to do a good job at everything.”

When the actor finally arrived at Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon’s house on Jeju Island, he managed to catch not only Lee Hyori but also YoonA and their guests off guard. As the female guests squealed in delight at the news of his arrival, the stars ran outside to greet Park Bo Gum and offer him a warm welcome.

Lee Hyori jokingly remarked, “I wish you’d come after I had at least washed my face.”

Park Bo Gum promised he would work his hardest and said worriedly, “I don’t know if I’ll be of help.” Lee Hyori replied with a laugh, “I think you’ll be of help just by being here.”
