Song Ji Hyo Refutes Rumors With Kim Jong Kook + Surprises "Ask Us Anything" Cast With Her Ideal Type

The March 24 episode of JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” featured the lead actresses of upcoming movie “Wind Wind Wind” (literal title), Song Ji Hyo and Lee El, as guests.

The cast first asked Song Ji Hyo “Have you ever had a boyfriend cheat on you?” as the word wind can also refer to cheating in Korean. Song Ji Hyo replied, “Not recently, but I have before,” to which Kang Ho Dong remarked, “Kim Jong Kook isn’t the type to cheat.” He added, “Song Ji Hyo’s talking style reminds me of Kim Jong Kook.”

The cast mentioned Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook could become a couple like Jun Hyun Moo and Han Hye Jin from MBC’s “I Live Alone.” However, Song Ji Hyo refuted the romance rumors saying, “We saw each other every week for eight years, so obviously we’re going to be similar. If we saw each other for eight years, we’re family now. There’s no progress towards or even hope for romance. Don’t try to connect us.”

Later in the episode, Song Ji Hyo also chose Seo Jang Hoon as her favorite cast member, explaining, “He’s dependable. He’s big in stature.” Kang Ho Dong asked, “Does this mean you would marry Seo Jang Hoon if the ‘Ask Us Anything’ cast were the only men in the world?,” and Song Ji Hyo reaffirmed her answer. Seo Jang Hoon then praised Song Ji Hyo, saying, “You have good taste.”

During the segment where the guests ask the “Ask Us Anything” cast questions, Song Ji Hyo asked, “I sleep a lot, and can’t wake up easily. But if I do this, I wake up right away. What is it?”

Heechul playfully replied, “Kim Jong Kook. It’s your alarm bell.” He then continued to tease Song Ji Hyo by singing Kim Jong Kook’s songs. In response, Song Ji Hyo stated, “Stop connecting us. Kim Jong Kook has his own life, and he probably doesn’t like it either.”

The cast remarked that they aren’t thinking of any rumors, with Heechul saying, “Nobody here thinks you two are dating.” However, Song Ji Hyo then jokes, “What if we are actually dating?” Seeing the surprise from the cast, Song Ji Hyo explains, “This is why I don’t like talking about it.”

Lee Soo Geun then asked Song Ji Hyo what her ideal type is. She comments, “The style I like doesn’t exist in this world. I used to look at physical appearance a lot before, but I watched a movie one day. There was a particular line in the movie and I completely fell for the character then. My ideal type is Optimus Prime from ‘Transformers.'”

The cast is visibly taken aback by Song Ji Hyo’s answer and joke about her strange ideal type. Lee Soo Geun playfully asks, “Is it not truck drivers you like?”
