YoonA And Lee Hyori Have Heart-To-Heart Conversation About Life On "Hyori's Homestay 2"

Lee Hyori and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA became closer on the latest episode of JTBC’s “Hyori’s Homestay 2.”

The March 25 episode of the reality program showed the fifth day of the bed and breakfast’s operations on Jeju Island. Because Lee Hyori wasn’t feeling well and Lee Sang Soon had gone to Seoul for work, YoonA took care of the guests in their stead. After she finished working late at night, she went to sleep next to Lee Hyori in her recording studio.

Lee Hyori, who had waited up for YoonA, told her she was both thankful and sorry for making her do all of the work that day. Lying side by side, the two singers opened up to one another in a deep conversation.

Lee Hyori said, “I get sick frequently. When it’s winter, I get sick and have to lie down like this. At first, I was worried about you because you looked so delicate, but after seeing you today, I realized I have nothing to worry about. You are so strong, and I think you’re perfectly capable of handling things on your own.”

She continued, “Whenever you’re having a hard time, remember my words. You live life alone.”

YoonA agreed, “You’re right. You live life alone. I never dreamed that we would meet like this. I realize that you must’ve gone through everything [that I’m experiencing] before. It’s amazing that I was able to meet someone like you.”

Lee Hyori then recommended a song she liked to YoonA, who sympathized with the beautiful lyrics. Wanting to thank YoonA for her hard work, Lee Hyori suggested they go for a walk on the beach the next day.

“Hyori’s Homestay 2” airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. KST.
