iKON To Take On New Challenge For First Reality Show

iKON is trying something new for their upcoming reality show!

The members will be special guests on the Lotte Home Shopping channel for 50 minutes on March 29 starting 10:45 p.m. KST. The members will be sampling and promoting the spicy pork and beef bulgogi set from YG Food’s Three-Way Butcher brand. iKON’s upcoming appearance as home shopping models is one of the part-time job experiences they are filming for their first reality show “iKON TV.”

Because iKON is immensely popular these days, Lotte Home Shopping is said to have scheduled their appearance for the prime time slot. iKON’s appearance as home shopping models will be a fresh sight not only for their fans, but also for avid viewers of the home shopping channel. It will also be an opportunity to catch a glimpse of “iKON TV” before it premieres at the end of April.

“iKON TV” is their first reality show since debut. Fans will be able to see another side of iKON that’s different from their charismatic selves on stage. The group achieved great success with “Love Scenario” from their second album and topped domestic music charts for 43 consecutive days, setting a new record for boy groups for the first time in 10 years. Their most recent release “Rubber Band” topped iTunes charts in 11 countries as well, proving their global popularity.

While “iKON TV” will air its first episode in late April, iKON’s appearance on Lotte Home Shopping will be broadcast live on March 29 at 10:45 p.m. KST.
