The Boyz's Hwall Unable To Join Comeback Due To Leg Surgery

The Boyz will be making their first comeback as an 11-member group due to Hwall’s leg surgery.

On March 28, their agency Cre.ker Entertainment released an official statement, announcing that Hwall will temporarily halt activities.

They wrote, “Due to health issues, The Boyz member Hwall is unable to participate in promotions for the group’s upcoming mini album.

“While preparing for their comeback, Hwall visited the hospital after experiencing physical pain. He was medically diagnosed with posterior tibial tendon dysfunction and was told he would need three months of recovery after getting surgery.

“After consulting with the medical team and discussing it with Hwall’s family, we decided to carry on with the surgery especially since our artist’s health is top priority right now. Hwall underwent surgery on March 27 and is currently focusing on recovery.

“The Boyz will continue with their comeback showcase on April 3 as an 11-member group. Hwall will promote with the group again once he fully recovers.

“We apologize for the sudden news regarding his surgery. We will put forth our best effort towards Hwall’s recovery process and The Boyz’s comeback promotions. Thank you.”

The Boyz will release their second mini album “The Start” on April 3 at 6 p.m. KST.

We wish Hwall a speedy recovery!
