Samuel Talks About Being Inspired By TVXQ And Looking Forward To Promoting With Yoo Seon Ho

Samuel talked about some of the singers he’ll be promoting alongside during this comeback!

On March 28, Samuel held a showcase for his second mini album and title track “ONE” at the Shinhan Card Fan Square Live Hall in Seoul.

Samuel said, “While preparing to become a singer in the United States, I watched TVXQ’s performance of ”O’-Jung.Ban.Hap.’ and it was impressive. I thought about wanting to become a singer while watching TVXQ.”

He continued, “I’ve watched TVXQ videos since a long time ago. I also searched for them a lot while preparing for this album. The look in your eyes and performance are important, but TVXQ has a certain kind of coolness that I can’t put into words.”

He added, “While watching TVXQ’s performances, I gained a lot of knowledge about how to perfect a performance. It’s an honor to compete with them during this comeback. I want to personally say hello to them in the music show dressing rooms.”

Samuel also talked about former “Produce 101 Season 2” contestant Yoo Seon Ho, who is currently preparing for a solo debut. He said, “When I was doing promotions for ‘Sixteen,’ there were some feelings of awkwardness because lots of older ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ contestants had comebacks. However, since Yoo Seon Ho is the same as age as me, I’m happy.”

The singer added, “I think going to music show dressing rooms will feel like going to a friend’s house. I want to meet in the dressing room, eat yummy food, and cheer each other on.”
